The Villeret collection that stands for Blancpain’s history, longevity, and values now extends with a new Villeret Quantième Perpétuel (Ref. 6656 3653 55B). The timepiece appears in a sunburst rich green hue dial, drawing inspiration from the spruce forests of Vallée de Joux, home of Blancpain.
Villeret Quantième Perpétuel (Ref. 6656 3653 55B) The watch features a Villeret collection's signature double-stepped case crafted in 18K red gold and measuring 40.3mm. The timepiece comes with a secure movement that protects the calendar mechanism from damage if the wearer adjusts the watch while the indications are changing. The watch boasts the brand’s signature under-lug correctors, which were introduced on a perpetual calendar in 2005; this is a Blancpain patented system that allows tool-free indications adjustment with the press of a finger. Also, the watch has a veritable mechanical memory and does not require any adjustment until February 2100. On the aesthetically pleasing and legible dial are contrasting red gold Roman hour markers and leaf-shaped hands along with a moonphase indicator—the face of Blancpain, at 6 o’clock, day of the week indication at 9 o’clock, month and year indication—along with leap year at 12 o’clock, and a date counter at 3 o’clock.
Villeret Quantième Perpétuel 5954 self-winding movement Through the exhibition caseback, one can see the 5954 self-winding movement that boasts a power reserve of about 72 hours. It also reveals a red gold crafted honeycomb oscillating weight. A brown alligator leather strap with a folding clasp completes the timepiece. The watch is resistant to water up to 30 metres.
The Villeret Quantième Perpétuel is available for Rs. 49,97,000 (approx.) on the official website.
