Frederique Constant adds five new watches to Classics line

Part of Classics line at Frederique Constant, five new models spanning the Heart Beat Automatic and the Index Automatic offer a clean, elegant design, perfect for formal occasions.

Sure it’s choice that’s personal, but it is recommended that should everyone has at least one classic watch that can be worn for a formal event, be it a wedding or a board meeting. Dress watches not just complete a look, they remain ageless. This seems to be the idea behind five new timepieces by Frederique Constant, spread across Classics Heart Beat Automatic and Classics Index Automatic lines. The Classics line has a strong presence in the Frederique Constant arsenal, and the new 40mm models featuring guilloche dials are positioned to expand that scope.

FREDERIQUE CONSTANT CLASSICS HEART BEAT AUTOMATIC

The Heart Beat, with its view of the balance wheel, has become a Frederique Constant signature. Its window at 12 o’clock, the brand believes, shows the romantic side of mechanical watches (thus also the name). Frederique Constant’s new Classics Heart Beat watches now comes in two variants (Ref C-310MC5B6) and (Ref FC-310MCK5B6), powered by FC-310 caliber, an automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve and a 4 Hz frequency.

The watches have a polished stainless steel 2-part case, a scratch-resistant convex sapphire crystal with a see-through caseback. While Ref C-310MC5B6 gets a silver colour dial with black hour, minute, and second hands, Ref FC-310MCK5B6 gets a green khaki dial and white hour, minute, and second hands. The Roman hour markers further add to the classicism. Common to both the watches is the strap - black calf leather with crocodile pattern and black stitching. The watches have a water resistance of 50 metres.

FREDERIQUE CONSTANT CLASSICS INDEX AUTOMATIC

The new Classics Index Automatic collection (Ref FC-303MC5B4), (Ref FC-303MCK5B6), and (Ref FC-303MC5B6) are powered by the FC-303 caliber, automatic movement, giving it a 38-hour power reserve and a 4Hz frequency. While there is no opening on the dial, the clous de Paris guilloché creates a sense of elegance.
